A brand new GO Outdoors store has opened on Angouleme Way in Bury… Amid a nationwide boom in the popularity of outdoor activities.
The brand-new store – which replaces the previous DW Fitness site – will add to the vast estate of GO Outdoors stores across the UK.
The newly opened store, with free and easy parking will be the go-to destination in Bury for outdoor enthusiasts, stocking everything from the latest tents and camping equipment, to waterproof jackets, walking boots, bikes, rucksacks and more.
With over 65 stores, GO Outdoors are one of the UK’s biggest and most loved outdoors retail chains. The company are well known around the UK for offering unbeatable in-store ranges of quality outdoor equipment and clothing. They have recently seen sales increasing, as people continue their love affairs with the outdoors, gained in the lockdowns. This positive news bucks the gloomier trend in retail recently.
This 78,000 square foot store stocks a variety of unbeatable brands, such as Rab, OEX and Berghaus, as well as trusted brands like Peter Storm, HiGear and Brasher. It also features exciting concessions from Naylors and Fishing Republic, offering expert equestrian and angling advice and equipment, in the convenience of a GO Outdoors store.
With new fixtures, fittings and signage, the new store has a bright, clean and modern feel to it with the new GO Outdoors branding. The store also offers customers a convenient collection and drop off point for parcels from online orders, UPS and DPD collections.
Having opened for business on the 7th June, the store celebrates the new Bury location by offering all customers an extra 15% off everything from the 7th – 20th June 2022 while shopping in store.
The store also celebrated with special guests, Helen Skelton and Ross Kemp, officially cutting the ribbon and answering customers most burning outdoor questions. As well as goodie bags worth over £20 for the first 100 groups and a £20 voucher to spend in store for the first 200 groups through the doors. Plus family friendly entertainment, prize giveaways and free tea and coffee.
