Scotch & Soda opens three new stores in Europe

Amsterdam-based men's and women's clothing brand Scotch & Soda has opened three new stores in London and Copenhagen, as it continues its expansion in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

The brand has opened a store in Old Spitalfields Market, a flagship in Covent Garden, as well as a flagship in Copenhagen’s Amagertorv square. The openings are in addition to the 31 stores it has opened globally this year.

Located on the ground floor of a 5-storey building in Long Acre, Covent Garden, its 1,615 sq ft flagship store houses the brand’s collections for men, women and kids, as well as its accessories, footwear, eyewear, beauty, and the soon-to-be launched bodywear line.

Its 1,300 sq ft store in the Old Spitalfields Market features a red-bricked façade and re-designed interiors spanning across two floors. The opening of the Scotch & Soda stores in Covent Garden and Old Spitalfields Market brings its total number of stores in the UK to four.

The flagship store in Copenhagen's Amargetorv, which is the brand's second location in the city, has a sales area of 3,983 sq ft spanning across two floors.

Since the beginning of this year, Scotch & Soda has opened stores in Italy, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Austria and Sweden. Outside Europe, it has opened stores in the US, China, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

Frederick Lukoff, CEO of Scotch & Soda, said: "The opening of our new stores in London and Copenhagen, two of the world’s most attractive fashion retail destinations, represent an important milestone for our brand. As our retail network maintains its growth momentum, we are happy to expand our presence in these key cities, with flagships that can showcase Scotch & Soda’s full universe and collections, inspired by the free spirit of Amsterdam."
