Womenswear retailer Hobbs has set a date for when it will open its newest boutique shop in the North East – leaving fans and customers of the fashion brand excited.
Arriving at the Upper Platinum Mall in Metrocentre Gateshead on November 17, Hobbs has set out what future customers can expect when they arrive in the newly kitted out shop - which will combine high-street shopping with high-end fashion.
Moving into the former Suits Direct unit, the new store will be nestled in between Kuoni and Paperchase and opposite fellow fashion retailers Tessuti, Joules and Phase Eight.
Suits Direct has relocated and upsized to accommodate the new arrival taking on a new unit alongside Jack Wills.
Established in London, the womenswear brand draws on a rich British heritage, with a contemporary twist to suit the needs of the modern woman.
Offering a range of stylish collections that are current yet timeless, Hobbs provides shoppers with a fresh take on high street shopping and is the perfect place for Metrocentre customers to shop for their quality capsule wardrobes.
Ben Cox, of Sovereign Centros, senior asset manager for Metrocentre commented: ‘We’re proud to welcome Hobbs to Metrocentre.
“With a classic and sustainable product offering, the store will provide customers with further quality choices in womenswear and develop our current portfolio of fashion retailers and premium brands.
“Hobbs will shortly be joined by Jo Malone London and a few new names in the coming weeks.
“The addition of these quality brands is part of the wider business plan for the centre, the prime destination for shoppers in the region. The centre’s growth is clear, and we’re excited to continue our evolution.”
With all pieces designed in its London studio, Hobbs promises quality and affordability, with garments that are always elegant, sophisticated, and endlessly versatile.
In an age of throw away fashion, Hobbs aims to make the pieces consumers will still be reaching for in many years to come.
